Nipple Clamps are painful. That’s what they are made for. And it’s fun during pain play if you are with someone who is enjoying the experience as well.
The amount of pain strongly depends on the type of clamp you are using, where on the body you are using the clamps and for how long the clamps are being used on the body.
Recognize When a Clamp Will Hurt a Little or a Lot
You test a clamp on that small piece of skin between your index finger and your thumb. It is not a sensitive little piece of skin and it’s very thin. When you use multiple clamps on it, you can learn if it is a very painful clamp or when it is not that bad. You can also check to see if the clamp will release easily or needs a bit more force.
Obviously, there is also the clamping force. I don’t know if this is an official term, but what we mean is the stronger the clamp is holding on, the more painful it is.
You also have adjustable clamps. In this case you can find a little screw for example, this can be used for opening the clamp a little. This will release the tension on the clamp which will result in much less pain.
The width of a clamp matters a lot as well. A wide, flat clamp distributes the pressure over a larger area, making it less painful than a similar, but very narrow clamp. And a clamp with teeth hurts a lot more than a clamp with a smooth surface. This makes a massive difference!
Where Can You Use Clamps?
There are a lot of places where you can put the clamp. A lot of people go for the sensitive spots such as the nipples, labia and scrotum. But have you ever thought to put a clamp on an ear lobe, lower lip, tongue, nostril or septum, eyebrow, back, belly, legs, arms, fingers, and if someone has had enough: on the foreskin. And then give someone an erection. Good stuff! 🙂
And Where Should You Not Use Clamps?
Back of the knee, armpits, groin and tendons such as your Achilles heel located on your ankle. Also, other places such as on moles, zits, other unusual growths, new tattoos (not older than 6 months) etc.
Common sense goes a long way 🙂
You can also put a small clamp behind the nipple when you pull the nipple a bit. This makes a huge difference in the amount of pain it causes. It also makes a difference with pierced nipples. With a piercing (at any place), the skin between the piercing and the clamp is being squeezed, which can cause extra pain.
There are a few spots on which you should not use a clamp.
- If you put a clamp on a man’s scrotum, make sure there is no vas deferens caught in-between it.
- The only place in the body where muscle tissue attaches directly to the skin for the subtle mimic.
- You should not use hard clamps on the face (however, you can still be mean when it comes to the lips and tongue) and obviously not on the eyelids.
- How big is the surface of the clamp or how sharp are the edges?
- There are twice as many nerve endings in a clitoris in comparison to a complete male erection, so you might want to be careful with that as well
Putting on a Clamp
Make sure that the piece of skin you use is not too small. The less skin in between the clamp, the more it has to take. Because this clamp will clamp!
The technique is simple: pull up the skin and put the clamp on. You can also put multiple clamps on it for a happy look!
Pay attention when using lubes: when the skin or fingers are oily, a clamp can fly off unintentionally. Ouch!
Removing a Clamp
Timing is crucial. When you place a clamp on the skin, it will push out the blood at that part of the skin. Often you will notice that the skin go whiter. When this happens, it hurts. When this happens, after a while you won’t feel it any more. But the clamp is still there! And the effect will get worse, even though you’re not really feeling it.
When you remove the clamp, the blood starts flowing back and with that, the feeling as well. Suddenly. And this hurts! The longer you leave a clamp on, the more painful it is when you remove it. How long you can leave it, differs for each individual. It can be 20 seconds, 2 minutes, and so on.
That’s why you want to remove any clamps before reaching orgasm. If you are already relaxing, and you still need to remove a clamp, it can cause acute discomfort.
If a clamp does accidentally hurt when you remove it, it can help to squeeze or to push with your fingers on the place where it hurts. And then release very slowly. This way, the blood will flow back slowly and not suddenly.
When you pull or hit a clamp without opening it first, it will really hurt a lot. The clamp will then put all the clamping force on a very small piece of skin at the last second. That is very painful. This might be intentional, but pay close attention so that this does not happen unintentionally. It is a lot worse when a clamp keeps on being stuck as well. On that very small piece of skin! Ouch!
Creativity When Using a Clamp
You can do loads of creative things with clamps, ranging from amusing to mean things.
- You can hold a vibrator against the clamps for example.
- You can also tie a thin piece of rope or linen to the clamps. You can play with this a little. You can threaten that you will pull off the clamps very fast with the ropes. This is possible, but it will hurt a lot.
- You can put a lot of clothespins on a rope next to each other and then pull them all off at once. If you see the result, then you will see why they call it “The zipper!”
- And if you’re into this, you can also hit the clamps of the body by using a whip. Ouch!
- Maybe you’ve seen those clamps with a small chain in between them. This chain adds more weight to the clamps as well as some extra movement.
Imagine this: You take a couple of clamps which you can use on the nipples of -for example – your sub. With a chain in between long enough to add a little weight to and to be put in the mouth of your sub, or can be held with the teeth. Nice, right? Now start hurting your sub or tickle your sub with the chain and see if the sub manages to keep the mouth closed. Because if the weight and chain drops… Ouch!! 🙂
To let someone crawl with clamps on is such fun (mean), as well. Because the chain will start dangling, causing some interesting vibrations. And you don’t want to step onto that chain with your knee. Oh, can someone hand me a little dangling weight?
Risks
Why begin immediately with damage to the breasts? Well, because nipple clamps can be used on the breasts. And some people start with that feeling very “excited”.
Not a lot of things can go wrong easily with good clamps. Obviously, if you buy clamps from any DIY store and use these on breasts, you may damage the tissue of the breasts or damage the mammary glands. Breasts can take quite a lot though.
Especially when you do not put the clamps straight onto the nipples but instead put them on the areolas. Not a lot can go wrong this way. Also, it’s wise to keep communicating with your partner and do not put them on for too long in the beginning. About 10 minutes max.
There are Two Important Risks.
- Hurting someone so much that it stops being fun for that person and that this person does not want to play with you again. That’s a shame, because it’s a lot of fun when someone wants to be used by you, so you want to maintain that contact. So, maintain a balance in which it does not get too boring but especially that it does not become painful in such a way that someone does not trust you anymore.
- The second risk is a piece of skin being cut off from sufficient blood supply for too long, causing it to die from the inside. It does not happen fast, especially when you communicate while you’re doing it, but still, let’s look at the contributing factors.
- The more sensitive the skin, the more it will hurt when you take of the clamp. This requires checking on it regularly. 😉
- How good is the blood circulation in the skin on which you’re using the clamp?
- What type of skin is it? The skin of the inner labia is more sensitive for example, and the thinner skin is more subjected to the pressure of the clamp in which case you can use the clamp on this for a lesser duration than on a nipple for example. Obviously, you can destroy anything if you tease it too much. However, most of the time, you do these kinds of things for the sake of having fun together.
- Also keep the properties of the clamp in mind:
- How much pressure is it using?
- How strong is the spring?
- How much extra weight is being used?
People sometimes use alligator clips from the electronics shop but those are very (very!) mean ones which – ESPECIALLY when you start pulling them – they can start digging into a person’s skin very easily.
A large flat clamp, sealed with silicone or plastic, provides less direct pressure. An alligator clip with sharp teeth might not have a strong spring, but can be mean because of its teeth. Some clamps (side clamps, also called American clamps or clover clamps) are clamps who clamp on harder the more you pull it… something to play with on the earlier mentioned skin (not the muscle) between your thumb and the base of your index finger. There is always a good spot to test what kind of clamp you’re dealing with here.
But Especially
The most important tip is: be a little more careful in the beginning. As well as that, practice at communication all the time, to constantly check what you’re doing while you’re doing it.
Enjoy the pain it’s causing, so, when you learn how to read someone’s reactions, you can leave the clamp a little longer. But you can always be a little meaner next time and further look for the biological boundaries.
Something you can do very well here is opening the clamp, allowing the blood circulation to start again and allow blood flow through the skin (painful) and then put the clamp back in its place. As I said before, it is extra painful, but at the same time it is a nice trick to see what you were doing.
Finally, have fun with responsibly playing with clamps.
