A little about the Iroha Yoru
Iroha is the rechargeable vibrator line from Tenga. Tenga produces masturbators and naturally, they always feel super nice and soft. Whenever I get the chance on an exhibition or in a shop and I see a masturbator, I always have a little feel. I just have to put my finger inside of it. Secretly, I’m a little upset at that time for not having a penis, because it already feels so good around my finger!
These days, vibrators are made of silicone and feels a little soft to the touch, but I never felt something as soft as this Iroha Yoru sextoy. The We-Vibe Wish felt nice and fluffy to me, but it cannot be compared to this Iroha Yoru.
Only the outer layer of this toy is made out of silicone. What’s underneath…I’m not really sure but is really nice and soft. It smells a little weird, but the smell is definitely not strong, so normally, unless you really start smelling it, you will not notice anything about it. In comparison to many other silicone sextoys, this one does not attract any dust. It looks a lot nicer that way. It’s just a little dust, but in those cases, I do always have the idea of my toy not being really clean.

The Yoru is so nicely soft and squeezable. Just holding it makes me pretty happy. It feels like some kind of cute stress ball. I just keep squeezing it. I think it looks like a cute little whale, but not in such a way that it feels uncomfortable like you’re having some kind of weird animal in-between your legs.
These days, many sextoys are rechargeable. But this Iroha Yoru can be charged in a really fancy way: it has some sort of mini display you can place it on, like a little cabinet in which it’s placed in. This is the charger. Not discreet, because transparent, but I do think it looks super cute. Personally, it does not all have to be super discreet. If a sextoy looks as sweet as this one, it can, in my opinion, be seen in my bedroom.
Because I’ve never used such a soft toy, I was really curious about how this would feel. Actually, I prefer hard vibrators because they pass on the vibrations a lot better, because I just really love hard vibrations. But this Iroha Yoru feels so nice and squishy, it’s just a completely different sensation which I really wanted to find out.
So, the Yoru looks a little bit like a little whale. With a cute little tail and some sort of deep groove which looks like an open mouth on the front. Here and there it has some little grooves, but I think that’s more purely for design because I did not notice any additional value.
Testing … Testing …
The mouth piece is obviously ideal for placing your clitoris in it, so that was the first thing I tried when I started testing this sextoy. It really felt good. You can easily squeeze the mouth piece together which will give you a completely different, more intense feeling.
I’m happy that the vibrations are nice and deep and pretty powerful. It could use a little more power in my opinion, but this is definitely not bad! There are five normal steady vibration settings and two vibration patterns. For me, this is a great balance. More steady settings than patterns. These days, I think patters are pretty nice, but I really do not need 10 different patterns in a single toy.
The two patterns available, are very good for me. The first pattern goes on-off-on-off, in a pretty fast sequence. I think that patterns like this are ideal for a warm-up, it’s some sort of a clit-activator for me and I’m completely warmed up after this pattern. The second pattern is good as well, it goes from hard to soft and back again. But the soft vibration seems to feel extra deep, which was weird and especially really good. For me, those patters are actually some sort of foreplay. To orgasm, I prefer a steady vibration and a pattern needs to be -really- good if I can orgasm because of it.
When you use the mouth piece, you won’t notice much of the softness of the toy. Because I wanted to feel it a little better, I also used the bottom part of the toy, the chin, so to say. With some nice added water-based lubricant, it felt super nice. The real soft touch makes it feel special, which is completely different compared to other clitoral vibrators which I’ve tested. The combination of the soft structure sliding over your clitoris and the deep vibrations, it’s just really good and I had a really nice orgasm because of it.
The Verdict
This Iroha Yoru makes me quite happy, as a vibrator as well as a stress ball. It feels so nice!
