If you’re like me and enjoy very powerful vibrations, you are likely to end up choosing wand vibrators. They often look a bit like a fairly large microphone and most wand vibrators are super powerful. Especially the ones with a plug. A vibrator with a plug always works on full power, I really love that! But you always need to have a power socket close by. Yay for extension cords in convenient places. Yup I’m always prepared.
The Doxy is one of the most well-known wand vibrators. The Doxy is so popular because it’s the best wand vibrator according to many reviews and I completely agree. I love my Doxy with its super powerrrr! When I heard that a mini Doxy was about to be released, I immediately felt super excited. Because, no matter how much I love my Doxy, it is very big. Smaller would be even more perfect, so I could not wait.
Luckily, I met William from Doxy at an exhibition in Germany and as soon as he spotted me, he immediately told me that he had something for me. He disappeared behind a door and quickly returned with a Doxy 3, which is the name of the mini Doxy. Really, I could hear a big angel choir singing “Hallelujah”. He gave me a Doxy 3 to try out and I was over the moon. Oh yes, he really made me happy with this one.
When I got home, it did not take long before I started trying out this Doxy. The packaging looked great already, and the box is really perfect to store your precious Doxy. I think it looks great. Just white, but with silver lettering. Good times!
The Doxy 3 is made out of metal, just like the normal Doxy which is sturdy, durable and pretty heavy. However, due to the smaller size of this Doxy, the weight is not so bad. The metal is pretty cold at first, but quickly warms up and becomes the same temperature as your hands. I really don’t see it as a bad thing that it feels cold at first, but if you get cold really easy, it might be something worth considering.
The head of this mini Doxy is also a whole lot smaller than the one on the original Doxy. I really love it! I enjoy a more focused stimulation and with a smaller head, this works a lot better. Yay! The head is made out of silicone which is great, because it’s not porous and is body safe. Another improvement; you can unscrew the headpiece! This makes it so much easier to clean! It can obviously happen that other parts of the vibrator need cleaning too, but the fact that you can easily clean the head, takes away a major hassle because this is the part which contains the most moisture and lubricant and many other things.
Right now, there are no special attachments for the Doxy 3, but I can imagine that this screw-in system would be the perfect foundation for many fun attachments which can really channel the vibrations well. So I hope there will be more to come in the future.
Anyway, so far so good. Everything looked perfect and I was super excited to try it out. The cord of the Doxy is three metres long, which is very convenient. When I turned it on, I was immediately very impressed. It really did not matter that it was smaller. Those vibrations are out of this world! So deep and so powerful.
This is the kind of vibrator that makes me very happy. I love powerful vibrations and this is exactly what you get with the Doxy. I can cum super amazing with this wand vibrator and also multiple times in a row.
The Controls
The controls are very simple. You have a power button that turns it on and off and a plus and minus button that allows you to set it to harder or softer. It also remembers the setting when you turn it off and it will start with the same one the next time you turn it back on. In my opinion this function is superfluous. After turning it back on, I prefer for it to start off easy, but when it comes to it, I actually never turn it off in between turns, so personally it does not really bother me.
The buttons are well placed, I can reach them quite easily. The vibrations start out quite gentle and nice and deep and go all the way to super hard. When it vibrates on its hardest setting, they do feel less deep, but they are so powerful, so it doesn’t really matter much to me. This is really the kind of wand vibrator that I prefer.
Patterns
The small buttons work a lot better for me. I can more easily stimulate a smaller spot and I really think it’s better that way. I think this Doxy is better to hold into my hand because it’s a little smaller and lighter. But because it’s made from metal, it still feels nice and robust.
The Doxy also has one pattern setting. When you turn it on and you keep pressing the power button for a few seconds, it switches to the pattern. This is a pulsating pattern and with the plus and minus button you can make it go faster or slower. I thought it was nice to experiment with but soon went back to the normal steady settings, because those are awesome.
Conclusion
I’m a great fan of this Doxy 3. I really love it, it’s such a great item. If you’re looking for a super powerful (wand) vibrator, you really should try this one.
