I’m not just a toy tester, but also a kinkster. And some kinky games can be pretty messy. Think of games with candles, things where (sometimes by accident) a little bit of blood comes out. Deep intense orgasms including all the fluids that come with that….
For all those bodily fluids and other mess, you can obviously find some simple household items. I mean, towels were invented so you can dry yourself off and to absorb fluid. However, if you’re playing with wax, you really do not want to mix that with your towels or other fabrics like your sofa or your bed etc…

So, why the Sheets of San Francisco Funsheet Plus?
The Fascinator Throe and the Cumpanion are amazing when it comes to catching and absorbing bodily fluids and also feel very soft and comfortable.
However, if you start using candle wax or other more viscose and stain-forming stuff, you soon will get a stain which you can’t get out anymore and that’s no fun for any person. Besides that, the Throe and the Cumpanion give you more of a cozy and intimate feeling and in my opinion, that isn’t really kinky.
The Sheets of San Francisco Funsheet Plus is, in my opinion, really made with a focus on Kinksters. The fabric feels rubbery but is not cold or dirty and feels nice when you’re laying down in it.
The sheet is made in such a way that it does not absorb any fluids, for instance candle wax does not get left on it. Everything that I’ve spilled on it until now, easily slides or drips off and is super easy to clean.
Sheets of San Francisco Funsheet Plus: What Does it Look Like?
When I contacted Mark, he asked I got asked if I wanted a fitted sheet or a “single” sheet. This is because you can also choose a sheet for on your bed. It has an elastic band so that it fits perfectly on your mattress. Comes in handy when you want to get down and dirty often in bed.
However, personally I don’t do that a lot and because of the fact that I often visit kink parties, I actually prefer a sheet which I can use “everywhere”. So, they gave me the “flat sheet” version.
A Sheet of San Francisco Funsheet Plus flat has the following characteristics:
- Size: 213 x 240 cm
- Made out of breathing, double layered seamless polyurethane
- Can be washed in a washing machine
As you can read, you can create at least 4 square meters of “playing space” with 1 sheet. This makes it easy to play with more than one person at a time. It’s also not very thin, really durable and has withstood several parties, massages, candles, high heels (which is really not recommendable) and especially people with me.
Washing and drying (!) is not a problem (REALLY read the instructions) and after ten times of washing, my sheet still looks good as new.
So, it’s Basically Ideal?
Yeah, it actually is, especially if you prefer the soft rubber feeling which the Fun Sheet will give you.
Keep in mind though that this sheet will absorb absolutely NOTHING (and that’s what you want). Don’t forget about this.
Every kind of fluid will stay on top of the sheet. That means your sheet will get slippery when you play with lube for example.
If you leave more than the usual amount of bodily fluids (who doesn’t want some hot sweaty fun?), then you will find it in a nice little puddle on your sheet until it vaporizes (which takes a long time!) or until you’ve cleaned it up.
Because of its size, it’s not very easy to lift up the sheet all together to put it into a tub or shower cabin so that you can rinse it.
Conclusion
The Sheets of San Francisco Funsheet Plus is definitely recommendable for any person who loves “wet and messy”. Or if you want to keep your furniture and bed free from “little accidents”.
Although the sheet is not very cheap, it’s definitely worth the investment. Especially if you take care of it well, you will last a long time with your sheet. It’s a big improvement from the old fashioned “kinksheets” which were nothing more than fancy garbage bags.
