MyStim is a brand which produces all sorts of electrostimulation products for electrosex. Electro is a little creepy to me, but exciting at the same time. The fun part of electro is that you can do so much with it. It can give you a tickling sensation, almost vibrating, even pulsating or pinching all the way to painful. It depends on what you like and enjoy.
Miriam from Easytoys.nl sent me the MyStim elektro vibrator, the Tickling Truman, in exchange for my honest review. I was really curious about this sex toy which can be used both as a vibrator and electro stimulator.
The Golden Lubricant
The MyStim Tickling Truman comes in a pretty clean box and inside you will find a super-handy storage case. Within this case you will find the Tickling Truman, the charger, the user manual and two bags of lube. One of these lubes is special: The Goldfather. This is a water based lube with small pieces of gold(leaf). It doesn’t only look super cool, but also ensures the electricity is being conducted better. The good thing about this lube is that is also does not contain any glycerine or parabens and also the pieces of gold are not harmful and don’t cause any irritation, so you can really use this lube well.
Promising
After charging the Tickling Truman, I immediately wanted to feel it in my hand, because I was really curious. I also thought it was a little creepy, but I will always have that in the beginning when it comes to electro, however my curiosity got the best of me. I tried its lowest setting first and had to increase the setting before I could feel it well. I tried different settings and on my hand it really felt super promising. This felt really good, some settings felt like small pulses or little ticks on my hand and others felt like it was softly vibrating, really funny.
The Design
I’ve noticed that there is a seam going over the entire length of the MyStim toy. I’ve never noticed this before with silicone toys, so I’m not sure why this was added to the design.
To charge it, you use a magnetic charger which you click onto the MyStim logo of the toy. Looks really fancy and it works really easily. The Truman is also waterproof, which is meant for cleaning I think. The combination of electrosex and water doesn’t seem like a very healthy choice, in my opinion…
The buttons on the Tickling Truman felt odd to me. One is easier to press than the other and when you press the lowest placed button, you can see the button above it move with it as well. I wasn’t impressed by that.
Firm Size
I used my JO Agape lubricant, because it is also a water based lube so it seemed very good in combination with using this silicone toy. Water based lube also helps to conduct electricity and based on the size of the Tickling Truman, I could really use some of that lube.
At the thickest point, my index finger could just touch my thumb when I placed my fingers around it. Pretty firm size if you ask me. Because the Truman is shaped like a realistic penis, it also has a realistic glans which provides nice ribbing during penetration.
Wavy Vibration
Because of me not being that brave, I first tried the vibrating option, thinking this would get me nicely into the mood. The vibrations are not super powerful, you definitely cannot compare them to the Doxy or Fairy wand vibrators, but they are nice and pretty deep. This estim sex toy has two motors and with some positions they will work very well together. As some sort of wave, the vibration moves from the bottom to the top. That feels really good. I cannot orgasm from internal vibrations alone, but I really enjoyed this. It made me very horny and I started feeling like more. To orgasm, I need some clitoral stimulation as well, but this is super nice as some kind of foreplay. I finished things with my NÜ Sensuelle Point and I really loved that combination.
Estim
After I calmed down, it was time to face the electro function. I checked out the buttons very well before I started. It would really be me thinking that I clicked for the next setting, but actually pressed the button to make things getting more intense. A little tense, I pressed the electro button. With my eyes squeezed shut I was waiting to find out how it would feel. Slowly, I opened my eyes to check if the light was actually burning, because I was not feeling anything. A little hesitantly, I pressed the “plus” button. I focused on the distant feeling. A little braver, I pressed the “plus” button again. Yup, I felt something. To be sure, I turned it up a little more and I clearly could feel something. The feeling is really difficult to explain. It felt like some sort of “bzzzz”. It did not really feel like a vibration, but it came pretty close. Like some sort of a buzzing feeling. And just when I started asking myself what to think of it, the feeling disappeared. Super strange.
Disappearing Feeling
I switched to the next setting which built up the intensity. But it was still not that intense. With all settings it just happened that the feeling that came with it, would disappear pretty fast. I used a little more lube, but it did not really seem to help. Just when I started to think I was actually enjoying it, the feeling started to disappear, until it was completely gone.
The Goldfather Makes All the Difference
I decided to give the Goldfather bag another chance because it would conduct things better. There was not a lot inside of the bag, just enough to use once. It really looked unusual with all those small pieces of gold. Immediately, when I turned it on again, I noticed the difference. I could feel the first setting a lot better already and the feeling did not disappear either.
I really had to find out which setting I enjoyed the most, but I finally found one which I thought was really enjoyable. The electrostimulation is a very unique kind of stimulation. Sometimes you can feel your muscles contract and with some settings it really feels like you get very tiny shocks internally. There are a lot of different sensations to experience with this. I did not like all of them, but some of them felt really good.
Sex Toy for Foreplay
Just like with internal vibrations, I can also not orgasm from this kind of internal stimulation. However, I did really enjoy it. This MyStim Tickling Truman felt like a super nice sex toy meant for foreplay. I don’t necessarily mean foreplay for sex with your partner (but you can, obviously), but just for using it solo. If you’re in the mood to have an extended playing session with yourself, then this sex toy is really nice. Relax and enjoy all different nice sensations, both wavy and the separate electrostimulation. To reach an orgasm, I still really need my fingers or a toy which is better focused on clitoral stimulation.
From Hmm to Yeah
I really enjoyed trying and experiencing a completely new sensation. This toy is definitely suitable for people who want to try something different. If you’re into BDSM, you can have a lot of fun with this Tickling Truman. I would really recommend using The Goldfather with this, because it really meant the difference between “hmmm” and “yeah!” for me.
