Even when you’re not into BDSM, it can sometimes be very exciting to use nipple clamps. You have nipple clamps in all kinds of shapes and sizes. Some are very mean and hurt a lot while others only provide you with a bit of pressure. I have to admit that I’m not really into nipple clamps because of my nipples being very sensitive which results in things starting to hurt real fast. But when I’m really horny, I sometimes actually like clamps as long as they don’t hurt too much. When it comes to this set, you can set the intensity of the clamps so I thought it would be fun to try. Miriam from Easytoys sent me the Master Series Game of Chains in exchange for an honest review.
The Packaging
This Game of Chains set from Master Series is a set which looks super intense when you look at the packaging or at pictures on the webshop. A set of 5 clamps, connected with chains. Two nipple clamps, two for the labia and one for the nose. Super intense! But as with many toys, you can use this set completely how you want it and you don’t have to do it the way it looks on the pictures from the packaging.
The packaging itself is pretty simple, a black box with on the back an image and decription. The front is transparent and this way you can already see the product inside. When you finish taking the clamps out of the box, it’s pretty difficult to put them back in properly. However, it’s pretty easy to store the clamps somewhere else. This way you won’t need such a big box which only takes up a lot of space.
Chain with hooks
Each chain has a little hook which you can open. You can use the clamps separately from the chain. There are four pieces of chain connected to the long chain and the clamps are connected to the four pieces. You can’t take off the chain. The long piece of the chain (which also has a clamp connected to it) can be taken off since it’s also connected with the same hooks. This way, you can use two short pieces of the chain separately. For example if you want to put a chain in between two nipple clamps or whatever you think is fun and exciting.
Clamps
The clamps themselves look super durable and that’s how they feel as well. There is a long, thick screw going through it and by turning it, you can open the clamp or close it more. The turning goes really smooth and it’s easy to do. At the top of the screw you’ll find some kind of studs which will prevent your fingers slipping off the screw. I don’t really think that the clamps look nice, but they do look tough. It does look kinky from the start in my opinion, especially with all the chains connected to it.
I immediately noticed that the ends of the clamps were slightly bent. The ends are round and when it comes to clamps, they are quite wide. This means that the pressure is also slightly more distributed, making them less painful than very small clamps.
Nose clamp
I’ve never used a nose clamp and I had some sincere doubts whether that would be something I wanted to try. But if you don’t try it, then you’ll never know. I was afraid that it would really hurt but that was not the case at all. It really did not hurt but it did feel super weird when there is something like that dangling on your nose. In BDSM play with the focus on humiliation, this can be a fun thing, but besides that, it just feels really weird.
A clamp with a piece of chain connected to it also comes with a bit of weight, so it also pulled on my nose and made it look different than what I’m used to. That might have been the weirdest thing about it. I felt a bit like Octo from SpongeBob, so that was not so sexy.
Nipple Clamps
But once I found out that the clamp on my nose didn’t hurt, I felt more like trying the clamps on my nipples. My BDSM partner also was in the mood for this, so we got started. But it was not as easy as it looked. I have to mention that my nipples are very small. With some people, especially when their nipples are hard, you can see that the nipples really stick out. When it comes to me, it’s really minimal. This makes it pretty difficult to put the clamps on the right way. Using the screw to put them on was difficult for me. Especially combined with sensitive nipples.
In my case, my nipple needed to be held firmly and pulled forward a bit while the clamp was being screwed on. That’s clumsy, painful and a lot of hassle. It was not sexy. And when it was on, it turned out it was not done properly and it fell off again and we could start the entire process again. Argh! Such a hassle! And hassle is not sexy if you simply try to get into some horny BDSM play.
Eventually, it worked out, but if you have small nipples which don’t stick out, then these clamps are pretty difficult to use. Once they were put on right, they were actually pretty nice clamps because you can decide for yourself how much pressure you put on them and how much they can hurt. It was not a bad pain either.
Pussy clamps
And finally, my labia were up to the test. It was a little bit scary to me. Not that my labia are super sensitive, but well, clamps on my pussy, that’s just a scary thing to think of. So I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that it actually felt pretty good. I used clamps with a screw before, but it was a different kind of system. It was simply a clamp and with a screw you could make sure that they could not close all the way. But this system is completely different.
You can completely decide for yourself how tight you screw them on. You do want them to stay on, so you have to screw it on till a certain level, but when you’ve reached that point, you can simply stop. If you want more pressure and/or pain, you can turn the screw on even more.
Nice adjustable clamps
It might sound super logical, but for me, it was quite a discovery. I think that clamps get to intense very quick, so I assumed that clamps were just not made for me, but with these clamps I actually did enjoy myself. Even, or should I say especially, on my labia. I’ve only tested the clamps separately and not the entire set as displayed on the picture of the packaging. It looks very exciting, but also really intense. For that, I really need to be in the right mood. But I’m sure that’s going to happen one day.
Conclusion
I really like this set and it has a lot of possibilities. The clamps are definitely made for people who want to decide for themselves how much pressure they want put on. With these clamps, this is a lot easier and a lot more accurate to do than with other clamps that have a screw. Because of the fact that the surface of the endings is being a little wider, the pressure is also distributed better.
This feels (for me at least) nicer. When you have small nipples, it is a bit of a hassle to put them on, but once they are on, it feels good. The only downside in my opinion is the price. Even though the clamps do feel super nice.
