Shaving is always a little chore.
I love the smooth touch of my skin, but shaving is an annoying job by itself. It irritates my skin a lot, especially my mons Venus. And well, I think it’s just a dumb little thing to do. But having stubbles on my pussy, armpits or legs are things I don’t like either. I don’t care when it comes to other people and I think that women with armpit hair are actually super cool, but I prefer to have it smooth when it comes to my own body.
It is kind of an eternal quest to finding what is nice when it comes to shaving. I already found out that razors for men are working better for me than the female ones, but what should I use with it? Shaving foam, shaving gel, hair conditioner, shower gel? It was just not what I wanted. So, when I got the Total Body Shave Gel, I was really curious what I would think about it.
The Review
JO, or System JO, is a brand mostly known for their lubes. But next to their lubes, they also have all other kinds of things. Such as this Total Body Shave Gel which Sandra from JO sent to me in exchange for an honest review.
It is a nice and big bottle which looks fresh as well. The scent I was given was Fresh Lime and it smelled really fresh as well. Really nice and a very nice scent. The bottle said it had a special “anti-bump formula” which is really great if it actually works. Because having bumps after shaving is always a bit of a shame.
I mostly shave twice a week when I’m taking a shower. And now I would use the Total Body Shave Gel. The fresh smell made me very happy. The gel feels kind of slippery, which felt really nice when I applied it to my skin. It’s good that it doesn’t easily slide off your skin, because nothing is as annoying as having nothing on your skin any more when you’re only halfway there…
Something I’ve noticed is that the gel would get stuck in your razor a bit more than usual. You have to rinse your razor a bit more or else it won’t shave anything. But besides that, shaving was a super smooth experience. I could even shave the same spot on my mons Venus more than once to make sure it was nice and smooth without it irritating my skin. And I’ve got a very sensitive skin.
The thing I noticed the most was that it felt sooooooo smooth afterwards! It was super nice and it made me very happy. I think that a shaved pussy always feels great, but now it was super soft as well. I always want this!
Unfortunately, the anti-bump formula didn’t really work for me though. The next day, I still had some really small bumps, but it was not a lot when it comes to my body though. Otherwise, it might have been too good to be true.😉 Maybe the Body Shave without perfume would give a different result when it comes to it, but I haven’t tested it yet. However, it’s great that there is a perfume-free one as well in my opinion! There is also a third one with the smell of citrus burst.
Jay also used the shave gel and he really enjoyed it as well, even though it was a little too slippery for his liking. Normal he gets irritation when the hairs come up again, but with this gel, he didn’t have any issues when it comes to this. So, this made him very happy.
The Verdict
This is something I will always keep on using. I think this is so much better than average shaving gel. Shaving is a lot easier and without irritations and especially the super smooth feeling afterwards is something I really enjoy. I’m very happy with this Total Body Shave.
