Handcuffs? Wrist Cuffs? Cuffs!

But this is the first time I tried neoprene. Neoprene is made out of synthetic rubber which is frequently used for the manufacture of wetsuits. It is a super soft kind of rubber which can handle water very well and can keep or keep out heat with ease.
Despite their name, the cuffs are not completely made out of neoprene. This is not possible because neoprene is just too elastic. By itself, it cannot really be used to tie someone up. To solve this issue, the “outside”, is made out of PU “leather”. PU “leather” is not real leather. For leather fetishists like me, it is just a type of plastic. However, people can call it “leather” because it looks a lot like it. I’m not usually a fan of PU “leather” but I have to say, in this case the PU leather has come out very nice.
Overall these cuffs are very nice to look at. Black with a sort of “smoke” metal buckle which make them even more beautifully dark. The buckles of the cuffs come with so called lock pins, you can not only buckle them up, but they can also be used with the combination of a little lock which is included with the cuffs.
You can wear these cuffs “permanently”.
The cuffs also come with two strong looking D-rings to connect the cuffs together or to something else.
Although you would expect that the target group for these cuffs are tough and muscular “male” wrists, they really are not. In fact, the cuffs are absolutely compatible for the more tender thinner wrists.
Using the Cuffs
As I mentioned earlier, these cuffs are very nice to look at, so I was hoping that I could use them very easily as well. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
Neoprene is the main material used. The cuffs are pretty difficult to close the right way, especially because neoprene is pretty rugged and does not slide well. That is also immediately a disadvantage once you actually wear the cuffs.
Where other cuffs slide quite easily around your wrists when you change positions, the friction here makes it very uncomfortable. Perhaps this could be because they are very new, but I just did not like that feeling and the same goes for my playing partner.
But they do look nice, I cannot deny that.
Conclusion
These cuffs are very beautiful and soft, so good to use during games where you do not move too much. If you want to go for the harder stuff, I cannot really recommend them, due to the friction they cause which does not feel very nice for the skin on the wrists.
Because of the neoprene, I was hoping that I could use them under water. I didn’t try this out though as I thought they were too pretty to just throw them into the water and hope things would be okay. However, they are nice cuffs for the “beginner” and can be purchased for a reasonable price.
